The International Airport Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IAEMA) was founded in 2009 to promote and support the business interests of the GSE community. The founding group of IAEMA includes more than 20 leading GSE manufacturers with a vision to enhance the industry influence of global airport equipment manufacturers.

Our membership encompasses many of the world’s leading GSE companies, working together and sharing ideas to enhance the growth of ground support businesses industry-wide around the world.

Andreas Funk

After graduation as Dipl.-Ing. Mechanical Engineering, Andreas joined Trepel Airport Equipment in 1984. After a further assignment at Jetway Systems Europe he joined COBUS Industries in 1998 where he presently holds the position of the CCO/Sales Director.After graduation as Dipl.-Ing. Ben Reeves

CHAIR
Powerstow

Ben began his GSE career in 1993 with Tug Manufacturing. Over the course of the next 14 years, he held progressive roles up to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. From 2007 through 2010, Ben owned and operated a small business in South Carolina outside the GSE industry. In 2011, Ben joined Power Stow Americas, where he currently holds the roles of Executive Vice President of Sales and President. Ben is a graduate of Auburn University.

Erwan Jalil

Erwan currently oversees TLD GSE operations globally and has a deep knowledge of global GSE markets. Prior to joining TLD, Erwan worked at GE for 15 years in a variety of operational and leadership roles. Erwan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Master’s degree in Engineering from CentraleSupelec.

Jennifer Matasy

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jennifer Matasy has been in the aviation industry for more than 25 years. During this time, she has worked in general aviation marketing an all electric 2-passengaer trainer, for the next generation of pilots. She has experience working for United Airlines in the state-of-the-art training center and continues her career for the love of the industry in GSE. Jennifer has been on the IAEMA Board for 7 years and has held various executive rolls. Jennifer has an undergraduate degree in Aviation Technology from Metropolitain State College of Denver and an MBA from the University of Pheonix and holds a pilot’s license.

Owen McKenna

SECRETARY
Mallaghan

Owen has now been employed by Mallaghan since 2000 direct from University, where he graduated with a degree in Business Studies. Owen has been involved in the field off aviation ground support equipment for over 20 years, Owen has been with Mallaghan Group for the full duration off his aviation career in various departments including customer care, marketing and Global sales. Mallaghan export to over 100 Countries and thus Owen has a very strong knowledge and experience on the Global aviation market, on doing business in various Countries and Continents, therefore he provides good representation on the IAEMA board and knowledge in representing all the IAEMAs members.

Todd Tanner

Todd Tanner has been active in the supply of aviation gate equipment and ground support equipment for more than 35 years. During that time he has held positions for new product development, product management, service support, global sales, marketing, airport planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Todd has undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from Colorado University, Boulder and an MBA from the University of Utah.

Michael Nelson

Michael K. Nelson is the President of Advanced Charging Technologies (ACT), a trailblazer in the eGSE charging sector based in Fountain Valley, California. With nearly 11 years of leadership, Michael has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and innovation, overseeing the deployment of over 66,000 chargers worldwide. His strategic vision and commitment to excellence have set new standards in sustainability and operational efficiency, making him a key figure in the advancement of energy management and charging solutions across various industries

Our Mission

The mission of the International Airport Equipment Manufacturers’ Association is to promote and support the viability and business interests of the aviation ground support equipment community, including all size of manufacturers, distributors, and leasing companies.

IAEMA is here to support the airlines, ground handlers and FBO’s.

IAEMA fulfills this mission through ongoing communications and by organizing industry-specific events.
